HP provides a range of the product under six categories laptops & tablets, desktop, monitors, printers accessories and ink and tonner. Each of these serves as a different product line that falls under the same brand name. With the variety of product available, it provides the consumer with different choices which suit them.
Products are differentiated in terms of features and design to the customer which other competition doesn't offer which makes HP product to be unique.
PRICE
In order to set the price, HP follows a competitive based pricing strategy. This is because the data on competitors are easily available due to a large number of competitors are available in the market. The price range for the HP product start from low to high end based on the features and design which provides the consumer with the choice. HP also follows the price bundle strategy where it sells its product on the bundle at a lower price to beat the competition.
Another pricing strategy for HP is an optional pricing strategy where offer price for the base product and separate price for the accessories. HP has a fixed price for the product for its supply chain where retailers whole seller puts there own margins.
PLACE
HP sells its product through two channels. Firstly it sells direct to the customer from the website. Secondly, it sells to the whole seller who then sells to retailers located over all the country. HP has present 500 retailers all over the country. It follows an intensive marketing strategy where it tries to include its a product on as many retailers as possible.
HP has substantial sales from its website in order to manage the traffic from the website it has numerous delivery service providers in order to do timely delivery.
HP follows the omnichannel distribution where it's online and offline stores are integrated which allows it's customer easy access to the products. HP has a network of over 500 suppliers who supply the raw materials for production. It has been working closely with suppliers to bring new and innovative products.
PROMOTION
HP uses both mediums of promotion inbound and outbound. Inbound marketing which includes radio, newspapers, television, outdoor branding which supports to reach the consumers. which is followed by an outbound marketing website, social media, blog, video marketing. It advertises in various social media channels including Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram. Due to the high usages of this platform, it has a hundred and thousand of followers on these pages.
The other way of promotion for HP is sales promotion which includes taking part in the different trade exhibitions, events. Followed by a promotional strategy based on session, like boxing day, Christmas, father's day with discount, and different offers.
PEOPLE
People are the driving force for all the organization HP has people working as a sales team which plays a vital role in its marketing effort. These people are provided with extensive training and technique to undertake customer service. If any customer is facing some problem with the product and service these people guide them and get the issue solved. There are people who are working on the site or the retail store where they provide excellent customer service. The hierarchy starts from Ceo to ground level staff who perform each and every work in a guided way to meet the company objective and goal.
PROCESS
In order to meet the demand of its customer HP make sure that every product is available at a retail shop for which a system is installed where retailers can notify where the stock is low. The other way of delivering the product to the customer is online delivery where there is a system implanted and based on the order the shipment is carried. The other significant process of the company is base on supply chains where the process starts from design, find the source, make, deliver to the customers.

HP sells its product on distinct colors and packaging which are easily identified on the product shelf. These are the special shelves which are provided by the company which has distinct color and design. another side of HP under physical evidence is website that is user friendly allows the consumer to view high-quality images of the product from different angles.
